In 1985, Robert “Bob” Pinson, Jr., began his own grading and construction company working with several golf architects. This was a tremendous asset in gaining the hands on experience for the field he would soon embark upon. After learning from the experts, Pinson returned to Gainesville and founded Course Crafters, Inc. in 1992. At that time, there were no other companies whose involvement in the industry was directed towards golf course renovation.

Course Crafters, Inc. has since carved out a niche with some of the finest golf courses in the United States. We have become known throughout the golf industry for the quality of work we do, for our honesty and integrity, and for our ability to finish jobs on time and within budget. To date Course Crafters, Inc. has constructed or reconstructed numerous courses on many levels from the Golden Age of Architecture.
